Updates for Teachers' Day Celebration 2021

Dearest Alumni of SAPS,

Annually, ex-students take the opportunity to visit during events such as the upcoming Teachers’ Day Celebration. However, in line with the national posture to avoid mass gatherings and intermingling, we regret to inform you that we are unable to allow visitors, including ex-students, to visit the school. Instead, we encourage you to reach out to your teachers through other means (e.g., email), or to pen your notes of appreciation at the school's Heart of Gratitude Wishing Wall https://go.gov.sg/sapstrday2021 .

We are grateful for your understanding, and look forward to welcoming you back to SAPS once the situation improves.

Regarding Purchase of School Uniforms

Dear Parents/Students,

Due to the pandemic situation, we regret to inform you that our uniform vendor's office at Commonwealth Drive will not be able to accept all onsite purchases and customer walk-ins. Instead parents are able to obtain their uniforms & PE attire through KH Uniform's website.( https://www.khuniform.com ) Self-collection or delivery service is also available. Alternatively, you can purchase the attire from the school's bookshop. Should you have any queries, kindly call them at 64796811. Thank you.

Penitential Service for Primary 4 to 6 Catholic Anthonians

On March 8, as part of the Lenten preparation for Easter, the school’s Catholic Education Committee organised the Penitential Service for the Primary 4 to 6 Catholic Anthonians.

We were indeed blessed to have Friars Mike, Julian, Esmond, Gerard and Aiden from the Church of St Mary of the Angels to conduct the Sacrament of Reconciliation for the children.

The children were given the opportunity to reflect on their actions, thoughts and words that might have hurt themselves or others. They were also given the opportunity to seek God’s forgiveness and were reminded to be more mindful of such actions and words in their interactions with God and others.

Explore! Engage! Excite!

That’s what the Code@SAPS programme hopes to achieve for our P3 to P5 Anthonians as they are given opportunities to try their hands at coding using applications such as Ozobot and MicroBit. This weekly programme allows the Anthonians to collaborate and come up with possible solutions to a given coding task.

When the coding gets tough, the tough get coding!

Back to School in 2021

It’s Day 1 of a full Back To School Programme with all six levels back in SAPS with Safe Management Measures (SMM) in place. It was a day of reunions and meeting of new classmates as Anthonians gathered in their new classrooms and met the people who would be journeying with them in 2021. Our Primary Ones also got to meet their Primary Four buddies who were present to help and guide their younger peers around the canteen during recess. These older Anthonians will continue to partner their juniors in the coming days and help them transit more easily into life in primary school.

Welcome back Anthonians!
